POUGHKEEPSIE – Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro will present his 2022 Executive Budget on Wednesday, October 27. more than 10 percent to the property tax rate on taxpayer bills.
The budget proposal calls for the eighth consecutive decrease in property taxes and the seventh consecutive decrease in property tax rates. These tax cuts are associated with the recently announced proposal to eliminate the sales tax on clothing and footwear under $ 110.
The combined impact of the sales tax and property tax measures is expected to result in annual savings of $ 20 million to taxpayers.
